Leadership

President Cassandra Quintal

Ushering in the next generation of Surveyors, Ms. Quintal is focused on bringing a fresh perspective to the Board. Her passion and promotion of the industry helped to create the new Workforce Development course in Land Surveying at Central Maine Community College. She looks to build a network for sharing knowledge and experiences that will attract and support new talent as we grow our profession. Ms. Quintal is a resident of Wales in Androscoggin County, and an active volunteer in her community. She is a graduate of the University of Maine at Farmington, the University of Southern Maine and soon to be the University of Maine with a Master in Engineering Technology. She is Project Manager/ Team Leader at Feldman Geospatial. In her free time, you’ll find her touring the U.K. or swimming in her favorite lakes.

Vice President Levi Ladd

Levi Ladd has over sixteen years of geospatial engineering consulting experience working for several of Maine's more prominent engineering firms including Sewall, Haley Ward, and Kleinschmidt Associates, serving each company in a myriad of survey and GIS capacities. Recently, Mr. Ladd established Maine Mapping Co. to fulfill a lifelong dream of starting his own business and providing services to a region in Maine that is extremely thin on surveyors. He earned his BA in Geography from the University of Maine at Farmington in 2006 and will have acquired his graduate certificate in Surveying Engineering from the University of Maine in early 2023. Mr. Ladd grew up in central Maine, being a Milo native who now resides in Dexter. Levi is also a Registered Maine Guide who operates his own part-time guide service. He has five children, including two foster daughters, and coaches girls varsity basketball at Foxcroft Academy. Levi's past and present professional affiliations include MSLS, NSPS, Maine GIS Users Group, and the Maine Professional Guides Association.

He has been a member of the Maine Society of Land Surveyors from 1987-present and has served as Secretary for MSLS Executive Committee, 2000 - present and was Androscoggin Chapter President in 1992.
